Evacuated Tube Collector System
– This system uses vacuum-sealed hollow tubes to heat up the water
– Works well with hard water
– Can’t be used with water pressure motor
– Cost-effective
Flat Plate Collector system
– Faster water heating since panel system offers more surface area for water to heat up
– More sensitive to water hardness levels, therefore preferable to be used along with water softener
– Can be used with water pressure motor
– More expensive
